The Apprentice is a superb team building event for encouraging teams to come up with creative ideas to convince the ‘Big Boss’ that they’ve got what it takes to create and establish a wild and wacky shopping channel.
OUTLINE
This apprentice style event is one of our most popular team building activities. With teams competing in a pitch to win business they will be hired and fired by our Boss and his fellow Board Members who grill the groups on their plans and tell them exactly what they think of their ideas! Only the best team will be hired - the rest will be fired!
OVERVIEW
The aim of our Apprentice event is to encourage creative thinking, promote honest and open feedback and provide a forum for understanding the customer’s needs. Each Apprentice team will be out to impress our ‘Boss’ and his Board Members with their ideas and compete in a pitch to win business based on an actual company brief.
Acting as representatives of a marketing agency, each team has to design and develop a creative pitch to bid for a unique business opportunity that involves creating a new shopping channel to sell the products of a particular company. Products will vary from jewellery, clothing, gadgets, food and even a brand new invention.
Teams must consider budget, target market, unique selling point, scripts and all sales and marketing elements. In addition, each team has to create and film a short advert for their shopping channel which will be aired at the end of the event.
And of course no Apprentice event would be complete without the final decision time when the Boss decides who to hire and who to fire as they present their ideas and support materials to the Board who provide open and honest feedback - Apprentice style!
A fun and purposeful event where planning is key and teams must work together if they are to stay on the right side of the Boss and claim the ultimate prize of being ‘hired’ by the Board.
