Can you solve the problems, build the unique structures and start an important chain reaction in order to save the beautiful maiden?

An ideal activity for developing team work skills, cross team working and demonstrating the importance of individual teams working together to achieve a common goal.
OVERVIEW
Themed around an innovative story, the first part of the challenge involves teams sharing information in order to solve a range of cryptic clues and riddles. Once solved, the group is able to piece together a story line which leads onto the second phase of the event.
The second challenge involves assembling the giant wooden sculptures that form part of the overall chain reaction. Each sculpture has a real 'toy-box' feel to it and, when complete, is a working machine in its own right. Envisage 'Mouse trap' on a giant scale!
The final challenge requires all the teams to come together to correctly set out the sculptures into a completed 3D-floor puzzle. And then it's time for the grand finale!
The climax of the event is the triggering of the first mechanical structure which starts a chain reaction and sees the sculptures re-enact the story in an ingeniously theatrical manner.
If the team has successfully completed each challenge, the story is re-enacted and the team is rewarded with an exciting surprise!
