RAT TRAP

Cross giant Mecanno with the infamous game of Mouse Trap and you get a pretty good idea of what our Rat Trap activity involves!

OUTLINE
Rat Trap is another upbeat and really different activity that promotes good team work and focuses on teams all working towards one goal. A fanatastic event that is creative, innovative and fun!

OVERVIEW
The task is for teams to design and build a mechanical 'toy' that will form part of a chain reaction between two pre-determined areas to catch a rat. Envisage 'Mouse trap' on a giant scale!

Each item is made up of giant wooden pieces (similar to giant Mecanno!) with axles, wheels, pulleys, nuts and bolts.

The event can be tailored to your needs and timings and can include a series of challenges to earn the required resources or simply involve teams working together to build and trigger the required chain reaction. With each team responsible for building the various structures it's down to them to work together to ensure that each section is correctly positioned before triggering the trap and successfully catching the rat!

Fun, creative and an ideal event to get teams working towards one goal.
